March 2024.

March 1 - Velu came to Chennai.

We went in the metro. First time for him, I think. The ride itself was fine, but then we hit Central Station.

The crowd. The noise. The rush. Central Station on a regular day is chaos, and we were right in the middle of it.

March 2 - Went to Marina Beach.

The crowd again. Always crowded, but that's part of the experience. We walked around, saw the memorials. The ones that stand there, watching the sea, watching the people.

Ate kulfi. Simple, cold, perfect for a beach day.

Then we went to Annachi Appa Kadai for street side food. The kind of place that looks rough but serves the real stuff. Good food, good vibes.

Late night local train journey back.

Empty train, tired bodies, the city lights passing by. These are the moments that stick - the quiet after the chaos, the journey home after a long day.
